For instance, on this planet, he met an alien which was drawing some weird symbols according to a strange pattern. The following are the first 5 members of the sequence.

He notices 4 other different symbols which are supposedly the next 4 members of the above sequence (but not necessarily in that order). Note that the symbols are labelled A, B, C, D ONLY for easy reference to the particular symbol.
